This fast and easy Thai peanut sauce is perfect for spring rolls, noodles, salads, or satay dipping sauce. Full of flavor, vegan, and ready in 5 minutes start to finish!
This 5 minute Thai peanut sauce is super versatile, creamy, spicy, savory, and sweet! Besides being the perfect spring roll dipping sauce, it's also fantastic in these Thai peanut noodles, makes an excellent satay dipping sauce, or even a creamy salad dressing.
Whenever I order spring rolls, I always ask for an extra serving of their peanut dipping sauce because I love it so much! I could literally finish an entire serving of peanut dipping sauce with a single spring roll. Why do they give you such a small amount? At times I've made an entire meal of just spring rolls and the peanut sauce.

It is so easy to make this Thai peanut sauce. Completely fool proof and takes only 5 minutes. Also this is one of those sauces that just gets better the longer it sits. Keep it sealed tight in the fridge for up to 5 days and reheat slightly in the microwave until the peanut butter starts to soften. You can also thin it out with a little bit of hot water if it gets too thick.
You can use any kind of peanut butter you want, smooth or chunky. I used chunky because I like the texture of the little peanut bits you get. I've also tried this with almond butter before because I ran out of peanut butter and it was still amazing!

Hi Jamie,
Thank you for sharing your delicious sauce recipe. I am pleased I came across your blog! So many tasty dishes to try.
I followed this recipe exactly, except I didn't have any agave, so I used a little palm sugar.
So good!Reply

This sauce is really great - we have made it several times now. Including in your noodles!
We really love how balanced the flavours are. Some of the other recipes I have tried have been way too sweet. This has a great balance and I could just about eat it with a spoon.Reply
Jamie
Thanks Drew! I'm glad you found it perfectly balanced. And yes, it goes great with noodles!
