MRS. THERIBY CLINTON\ Mrs. Theriby Clinton died Oct. 24, 1992, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

HELEN M. GARMON

Miss Helen Margaret Garmon, 82, of 531 Park Terrace died Oct. 23, 1992, at Alamance County Hospital.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 10 at First Lutheran Church.

A native of Beaver County, Pa., she was a teacher in Greensboro city schools, librarian and member of Alpha Delta Kappa sorority.

There are no immediate survivors.

Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.\

Rosa L. Gilyard of 215 E. Whittington St. died Oct. 24, 1992, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

ROBERT E. GOODSON

Robert Edward Goodson, 54, of Logan Street died Oct. 21, 1992, at his home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Long Leaf A.M.E. Zion Methodist Church in Robbins.

A native of Robbins, he was co-owner of Goodson's Curb Market in Greensboro.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Yvonne A. Goodson Terry and Ms. Melissa Marcella Goodson, both of Denver; sons, Robert E. Goodson Jr. of Denver; David Michael Goodson of Atlanta; stepson, Mason White Jr. of Atlanta; mother, Mrs. Almeter Goodson of Robbins; sister, Mrs. Marilyn Gant of Greensboro, brothers, David Clinton Goodson and Herbert A. Goodson, both of Greensboro; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be at Pearson Funeral Home 6-7 p.m. Monday, other times at the home of Marilyn Gant, 1723 Phillips Ave.\

James R. Moore of 1608 Young Mill Road died Oct. 23, 1992, at Alamance Memorial Hospital.

MRS. REBECCA D. MORRIS

Mrs. Rebecca Davis Morris, 72, of 2707 Granville Road died Oct. 23, 1992, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member.

A native of Salisbury, she was a trustee and volunteer for Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Board of Directors of Hospice at Greensboro and belonged to Green Thumb Garden Club, the Assembly, Debutante Club of Greensboro, Greensboro Junior League and Greensboro Cotillion Club.

Surviving are husband, Lewis S. Morris Sr.; sons, Lewis S. Morris Jr. of Chapel Hill, James D. Morris of Greensboro, C. Walker Morris of Southern Pines; brother, Dr. James M. Davis of Jacksonville, Fla.; nine grandchildren.

The family will be at the residence.

Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Society of North Carolina, 740 Chestnut St., Greensboro, N.C. 27405, or to Hospice at Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27405.

HIGH POINT - Clifford Lowell Poole Sr., 76, of Route 3 died Oct. 23, 1992, at High Point Regional Hospital.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Glenola Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A native of Randolph County, he was retired from Thomas Built Buses.

Surviving are wife, Ann Hill; daughter, Mrs. Jane Hollar of Vilas; sons, Lowell Poole of Archdale, Larry Poole of High Point; sisters, Mrs. Rosalee Clodfelter of High Point, Mrs. Virginia Martin of Fort Pierce, Fla.; brothers, Herman E. Poole, Allen ``Buster' Poole, Richard Poole and Albert Poole, all of High Point; five grandchildren.

The family will be at Sechrest Funeral Home in Archdale 7-9 tonight.

Mrs. Follen Leona Brown Setzer, 88, of Masonic and Eastern Star Home died there Oct. 24, 1992.

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Pauline Simmons Wertz, 90, of the Presbyterian Home died there on Oct. 24, 1992.

Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church Chapel, of which she was a member. Entombment in Simmons Mausoleum in Oakwood Cemetery will be private.

She was retired from Simmons Real Estate Investments. She was a member of the Historical Room Board of the church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of American Colonist and Wayside Garden Club. She was a charter member of the Junior League in High Point and of the High Point Historical Society, where she was on the board of directors.

Surviving are son, George Simmons Robichaux of High Point; two grandchildren.
