Normalize experimenting with different loadouts that aren't necessarily meta

This has been my go to build this past week, I am so glad to see someone had the same idea. It just works.

Alternating the rifle and the cannon to allow each to cool down intermittently is a bright idea. 😁

I like how you display the loadout before you dive in. Would be nice to see commentary / overlay to engage more ;) nice gameplay too!

You ship is now officially canon in the Carbot cartoons on HD2, or I guess everyone who decided to name the ship that way.

Looking like a ghostbuster

I ran a similar build very recently. Had a lot of fun.
Was vs bots, sheild instead of guard dog. Had a great time. Sniping rocket devistators 100m away was a lot of fun.

I've always wanted to try an "Oops, all lasers!" build, so this video is a gift to me! Thanks for letting us preview such a cool idea!

The laser cannon is a lot like the standard machine gun but with the 75 rd drum like the heavy machine gun. The heat cycle isn't really suited for bugs and the lack of AP against chargers or titans really gimps the weapon. But you don't have to reload or get resupply boxes at least. It works much better against bots and it can kill everything but the dropships.
As far as the scythe goes, I really wish the impulse part of the beam that does damage would pulse faster. As it stands the Sickle still beats it in dps by a long shot. If there wasn't a wind up on the Scythe then you could manually pull the trigger quickly and get that 200 damage with each beam faster. And the removal of ICE packs hurt this far more than they realize.
The Dagger is in the same boat. It needs a faster pulse as the time to overheat is much much shorter. That or double the ICE packs.

i love this build for defense mission. i just rack up kills with triple laser and gaz strike

10/10 would rate again

You can also run this for bots, I'd recommend the shield generator rather than the guard dog as it'll help you keep on target a bit longer. But great vid👍🔥

Advantages: infinite ammo, massive crowd control, kills juggernauts (low armor but high heal enemies) fast
Negatives: not a lot of answers to heavy armor, no concussive or stagger, no explosive ability outside nades, reliant of the planet being cold to effectively work

I ran this build as soon as the las-7 dagger came out and its still hard to put down. It work for both bots and bugs

Im gonna try this, but switch the armour to technician for more nades, then use thermite grenades for charger legs that ways i wont have to waste a railcannon or laser on one
