Miss Phebe Kellogg Dead
The many friends in and around Beaver, of Miss Phebe Kellogg, will be shocked and grieved to hear of her sudden death, which occurred at Shattuck Wednesday of last week.
Miss Kellogg was teaching in the schools of Shattuck and had been in apparently her usual health until the morning of her death, when she was taken sick at school and continuing to feel worse, she dismissed her pupils and went home expecting to recover in a short time and resume her work. In a few hours she was dead. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Kellogg, of Logan, were summoned by phone but they had scarcely gotten started on theirway to her bedside when another message came announcing her death.
Miss Kellogg was well known in Beaver, having attended many terms of the summer normal at this place. She was one of the most successful teachers of the county and the news of her death will be received with sincere sorrow by the large number of teachers and others with whom she was associated and by whom she was held in highest esteem.
The Herald desires to join with the vast number of her friends here in extending sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
