Rolling Stones announce guest Jon Batiste for MetLife show. Get tickets (2024)

Honky Tonk Women and Street Fighting Men, listen up.

On Thursday, May 23 and Sunday, May 26, the Rolling Stones will swing into East Rutherford, NJ’s MetLife Stadium for a pair of concerts as part of their ongoing ‘’24 Hackney Diamonds’ Tour.

Notably, the tour, in support of their recently released “Hackney Diamonds” album —and sponsored by AARP (!) — has a few interesting wrinkles that set it apart from your ordinary nationwide stadium trek.

First, Mick, Keith, and Ronnie have sprinkled in fan request songs that received the most votes online at past shows. Based on our findings at Set List FM, they’ve incorporated classics like “Beast of Burden,” “Monkey Man,” “You Got Me Rocking” and “Wild Horses” into their set lists at recent spring 2024 gigs.

Secondly, the Rock Hall of Famers are bringing different special guests to each concert. It was previously announced that pop-soul outfit Lawrence would be handling opening act duties on Sunday, May 26 but the Thursday show remained a mystery.

After weeks of intrigue and speculation, the band announced via their Instagram story that Jon Batiste will kick things off at the Jets and Giants home on Thursday, May 23.

And if you want to see either Lawrence or Batiste live —and the Stones of course, too — last-minute tickets for both shows are still available.

At the time of publication, ticket prices start at $76 before fees on Vivid Seats for the two Garden State performances.

For more information, we have everything you need to know and more about the Rolling Stones’ 2024 ‘Hackney Diamonds’ concerts at MetLife Stadium below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

The Rolling Stones new music

On Oct. 20, the Stones released their 26th American studio album,“Hackney Diamonds,”featuring special guests Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder.

Comprised of 12 hard-rocking tracks that wouldn’t be out of place alongside their singalong stadium anthems of yore, “Diamonds” shows that Mick, Keith, and Ronnie still have their sticky fingers on rock and roll’s pulse.

“We wouldn’t have put this album out if we didn’t really like it,” Jagger, 80, told Jimmy Fallon. “We must say that we are quite pleased with it. We’re not big-headed but we hope you like it.”

If you’re looking to sample the record, we suggest starting with the fierce lead track “Angry” and the wistful ballad “Dreamy Skies.”
