This is the second time we've purchased the dinner at The Cavendish. Both times have been equally excellent! Great location, service is with a smile, food is high quality, and the Prosecco is indeed copious. Thoroughly recommended. I can see myself buying this voucher for a third time when another stay in London comes around.

Sunday lunch with unlimited prosecco. Had starter salmon wgich was lovely. Roast beef main coarse, the beef was superb and plenty of roast potatoes and veg. Desert good. Unlimited prosecco which kept on flowing from very attentive staff. Lovely lunch.

Lovely restaurant inside the Cavendish Hotel. Food was gorgeous and the Prosecco was filled up very regularly. Food was a little slow coming out but they were very busy. Didn't agree with the surcharge at the end, this was a gift to us and we didn't expect to have to pay anything

The portion sizes were very generous more so then we expected which resulted in us ordering more food then we actually needed. However the menu isn’t very good for vegetarians and it’s hard to see what ingredients are in the food. We ordered the bread before the meal which we ate but then at the end we seen on the bill that the bread actually contained Parmesan which isn’t vegetarian which was very disappointing after we’d already eaten it (main reason for knocking off an extra star). I would have expected this to be highlighted to us at the time we ordered but it wasn’t even mentioned. However your glasses were never allowed to get below half and was filled back us to the top. Although the Prosecco was only supposed to be for 90 mins they did continue to top this up for the full time we was there. There is also alcohol free options but there was no menu for the drinks which ended up in my friend choosing a drink that she didn’t like as she couldn’t see all the options available. The service was great and the waiters and staff were amazing and very accommodating. The steak was really good but one of our party ordered rare and the other medium rare and these were given the wrong way round which was realised after they’d already stared eating. The lobster didn’t highly that it contained chillies which wasn’t expected so it was too spicy to enjoy they did offer to swap this to another option but since we ordered too much food anyway it ended up being a good thing in the end. The booking process was very easy and they also called us before the meal to check we were still able to make it which was a nice touch.

This was my third visit to The Mayfair Grill at The Cavendish Hotel and it won’t be my last as the food is superb,This time I took my daughter who has Coeliac Disease and the Chef catered for her perfectly.My daughter who is definitely a ‘Foodie’ said that it was the best meal out she had eaten in a long time and she goes to some 5 star restaurants.The food perfectThe staff including the Chef wonderfulAnd most definitely lots of ProseccoIt was wonderful!
