After five years there as cashier, he went to Elk City and organized the State Exchange bank of which he became president. In 1915 he left Elk City and went to Forgan where he organized the First State bank. He remained as president of the Forgan bank until his death.

He also headed the bank at Beaver City which he bought several years ago. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. O. H. Cafky, Democratic national com-mitteewoman from Oklahoma; four sons.
